If you’re looking for a new morning pick-me-up then this smoothie is for you. With all of your plant groups covered, this smoothie is packed with fibre to promote digestive health, as well as gut-loving polyphenols to support a flourishing microbiome.

  • ¼ cucumber, chopped
  • 1 small banana, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 25g baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 35g silken tofu
  • 1 tbsp oats
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 100ml ice-cold water or a handful of ice cubes


  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth.
  2. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!
