Gut & IBD specialist | BSc (Hons)

Lucy Kerrison

Lucy Kerrison is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and gut specialist dietitian, with vast experience across a range of complex gastrointestinal conditions and intolerances. She has spent a number of years working within world leading NHS teaching hospitals and has now moved over to the private sector, in order to dedicate more time and attention to each client.

Lucy has unique dietetic experience, in that she led and developed a hydrogen breath testing service for small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), intestinal methanogenic overgrowth (IMO) and carbohydrate malabsorption. She guided clients through all parts of their journey, from recommending if a breath test would be beneficial, to updating the recommended preparation diet and designing a treatment pathway and protocols for the entire medical team to follow.

Lucy is a guest lecturer at the University of Surrey. She also regularly teaches and presents to doctors, nurses and other health care professionals on the importance of gut health. Lucy has held a number of wellness workshops as well as appearing on the radio, to inform and educate the wider population.

Lucy is passionate about using the latest scientific evidence to help clients reduce debilitating gut symptoms, manage chronic conditions, and further understand their gut.
