Gemma is an HCPC-registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree from King’s College London, where she now holds a research fellowship focused on improving dietary care for people with gastroparesis. She has over seven years of clinical experience at a leading London teaching hospital, specialising in gastrointestinal nutrition.
She supports clients with a wide range of complex digestive conditions, including reflux, achalasia, stomas, bile acid malabsorption, pancreatic insufficiency, and complications arising from gastrointestinal surgery, such as fistulae, strictures, and adhesions. Gemma also has extensive experience in the nutritional care of people undergoing treatment for gastrointestinal cancers, helping clients manage symptoms, maintain strength, and recover after surgery.
In addition to her clinical and research expertise, Gemma is trained in trauma-informed care and intuitive eating. She is highly experienced in supporting eating difficulties that can develop alongside gastrointestinal conditions.
Her approach is person-centred, weight-neutral, and compassionate. Gemma understands that living with ongoing symptoms and restrictive diets can profoundly impact your relationship with food and body image. She collaborates closely with clients to rebuild confidence, flexibility, and a sense of safety around eating, providing both practical support and emotional understanding.
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, living with complex symptoms, or feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice, Gemma offers a calm, expert space grounded in the latest research and tailored to your individual needs.
