After having my baby, I felt the urge to ensure they had a fun eating journey. I must admit it hasn’t been easy because I do have a fussy eater at home and whenever I’m tired, I am so tempted to pick up convenient food. However, I honestly feel that eating isn’t just about putting food in your mouth, it is your overall experience with food and I really want it to be a pleasant one.

When I came across The Gut Health Doctor at my local library the food recipes were so appealing to me, I started with potatoes, asparagus and mackerel. I felt so nourished in my soul that everything I needed was on that plate, so I kept doing other recipes with sweet potatoes and beans.

This has been an individual food journey as much as a family journey where we feel really compelled to look after ourselves and our gut. Thanks very much for inspiring my cooking and supporting me to look after myself and my family.
