My team at King’s College London are investigating how diet can be used to manage active flares of Crohn’s disease.
We have designed a new diet and are looking to test whether it can reduce gut inflammation. We’re looking for willing volunteers with active Crohn’s disease to try the diet for 8 weeks and to have their gut inflammation, gut bacteria and gut leakiness tested before and after the diet.
The 8-week study involves:
Two hospital visits
Following a diet with a phone app
Eating the provided research snacks
Donation of blood, stool and urine samples

To be eligible you must be London based and have ACTIVE Crohn’s (i.e. not in remission) and receive care at one of the following London hospitals:
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital
Bart’s and The Royal London
Royal Free Hospital
University College London Hospital
St Marks Hospital London
