Managing emotions during COVID-19: The experiences of 12-25 year olds

covid research study flyer

My colleagues at King’s College London are looking for people to take part in a research project, to measure the impact of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on young peoples’ lives around the world. They are particularly interested in the ways that young people are managing their emotions during these uncertain times.

Participation is open to anyone aged between 12 and 25 years old, for anyone under 16 years, they will require consent from a parent or guardian before you can take part. Participants will be asked questions about the impact of coronavirus and the ways they are managing their emotions during the pandemic.

If you normally spend all or most of your time living in the UK (at least 8 months per year), you will receive a £10 Amazon gift voucher after you have fully completed four surveys and then a second £10 Amazon gift voucher once you have fully completed the final four surveys (£20 Amazon gift vouchers in total).

Take part

To take part, you’ll need to complete up to 8 surveys over a 16 week period (one survey every 2 weeks). Each survey should take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete. You can find the surveys here: https://kcliop.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_etGSQ2B8fRS44a9
