Supporting breast cancer survivors to take their medication

My colleagues at King’s College London are looking for breast cancer survivors who are struggling with their prescribed hormone therapy, to take part in a trial of an app to support women taking hormone therapy.

Not only does the app aim to help support women in taking their medication, but also helps with tracking side effects and includes interactive videos to help women understand how the medication works.

The purpose of the wider e-path study is to test the effectiveness of a digital intervention (app) which has been developed by the team to support women taking hormone therapy. The app aims to help women to understand how hormone therapy works and why they have been prescribed it, to develop strategies for remembering to take their medication and to reduce the impact of side effects on day to day life.
